Abstract: This research investigates the impact of personalized learning on adult education, focusing on how individualized educational approaches enhance learning outcomes for adults. The objectives were to evaluate the effectiveness of personalized learning in meeting diverse learner needs, to identify key elements that contribute to successful personalized learning experiences, and to assess the challenges faced in implementing personalized learning. A survey research design was chosen to collect data from participants engaged in personalized learning programs, offering detailed insights into their experiences. A sample size of 250 adult learners was selected for this study. The purposive sampling technique was employed to target individuals who have experienced personalized learning. The case study was conducted in Delta, Nigeria, where personalized learning is increasingly adopted in educational settings. Findings revealed that personalized learning significantly improved learners' engagement, motivation, and academic performance by addressing their unique needs and preferences. However, challenges such as resource constraints and the need for specialized training for educators were noted. The study recommended investing in training for educators on personalized learning techniques and providing adequate resources to support personalized learning environments.
